The Call Duration Display shows the duration of incoming and outgoing calls.
Applies to all external calls on MiNET display phones.
Applies to all internal calls on the 69xx IP Phones, excluding 6905 and 6910 IP Phones.
Does not apply to conference calls. However, if a conference is reduced to a two-party call, the duration reflects the length the remaining party is connected.
Applies to pages answered on 69xx phones.
The maximum time that can be displayed is 99 hours 59 minutes (99:59). 69xx IP Phones also display seconds. If you exceed the maximum time, the time restarts at 00:00 (or 00:00:00 on 69xx phones).
The time is not displayed when an external trunk call is on Hold; however, the timer continues to run. When the call is retrieved, the Call Duration Display shows the correct time.
Because the Call Duration Display shows the total time that an external trunk is involved in a call, the timer does not reset when you enter a new Account Code or perform a Transfer.
If the system clock circuitry is interrupted by a time reset, the set display will read ??:??.
The start time for incoming calls occurs when the called party answers the call. The start time for outgoing calls occurs when answer supervision is detected, when speech is detected, or after a programmable time expires.
The call duration indicated by the Call Duration Display can only be considered an approximation; it is not an exact record for billing purposes.
Trunk calls within XNET are treated as local calls and have no duration display.
Call Duration of a Mobile Line call records the length of time the Mobile line call is connected to the 69xx IP Phone, not the length of the call itself which started when the call was answered on the mobile device.
This feature does not require programming.
